Coconut Tree Plants

Spacing

• A minimum of 22x22 per acre Up to 100 plants can be planted. When planting along the margins, 40 plants per acre can be planted at intervals of 12 feet by 1 foot.

Practice

• Take a pit 3 feet deep and 3 feet wide and weigh 3 kg per pit rotten manure100 g neem paste.
• Mix the required amount of seaweed and cover the pit. Coconut should be planted as the trunk of the coconut is visible on the outside.
• Watering method Coconut trees should be watered three times a month for 10 days.

Harvest

• Coconut trees produce 280 to 350 pods per tree per year.
• Growth of plants depends upon the quality of soil and good management practice in the plantation field.
